Origin of the some common English verbs.

The Sanskrit word lok लोक् means to see, behold, perceive. Its derivation is loka लोक meaning the wide space or world (either"the universe"or,"any division of it". लोक् lok  is the origin of the English verb look.

वे ve, to weave, interweave is the origin of English verb weave.

पश् paś, to see, behold, look at, observe, perceive (its derivation paśya पश्य means seeing, beholding, rightly understanding) is the origin of English verb see.

ज्ञा jñā, to know, perceive, apprehend, understand is the origin of English verb know.

कृ k, doing / karaa or sj सृज् (variant srjati) meaning  to emit, pour forth became English verb create.

The Sanskrit dhatu (u) kñ meaning to carry out/to perform is the origin of English verb do.
